Initial therapy/counseling session (The first 10-15 minutes involve highlighting policies & procedures, and answering any questions you may have regarding the paperwork).
The first five minutes of these sessions will be used to collect payment and to schedule the next session. You also have the option to book several appointments into the future to minimize the time used during the session for scheduling. Please note that in fairness to you and other clients, your session will start and end on time. Please arrive on time and to make the most of your paid time. Two missed consecutive appointments without a 24-hour notice will result in being dropped from the schedule.
Cash, and all major credit cards are accepted for payment - rendered during the first 5 minutes of your session. Cash is accepted, but only if it is in the exact amount. When making payment in Cash, a credit card will need to be on file to charge for cancelled appointment sessions less than the required 24-hour notice. Please, no checks are accepted. HSA is accepted as form of payment.
We accept Aetna, Allegiance, Cigna, Magellan, Optum and United Healthcare.
Most clients find that they can complete counseling for less than their deductible amount, and thus would not be reimbursed even if we accepted their insurance. An example is having a deductible of $2000. Many clients complete counseling before they reach their deductible.
If you cancel a session 24 hours or more before the start time, you will not be charged. If you cancel a session within 24 hours of the start time, you will be charged a $195 fee. If you do not cancel your session and do not show, you will be charged for the session in full ($275).
For public persona clients, we can take extra measures to increase discretion. Just let me know your preference.
